Pittrice e scultrice, esploro l'impatto della nostra società (digitale) sulle nostre menti, utilizzando come strumenti principali la derisione e l'umorismo.
Il pesce è la mia figura centrale. Segno zodiacale diventato vettore di significato, attraversa i miei dipinti e le mie sculture come un filo conduttore ostinato. Ogni opera è accompagnata da un testo poetico che prolunga l'immagine in un universo narrativo distinto.
La mia pratica articola pittura su tela, quadri in rilievo, sculture in gesso e scrittura, al servizio di un'estetica della derisione in cui coesistono apparente leggerezza ed esigenza formale.
Il mio intento: offrire una lettura accattivante del mondo contemporaneo, senza moralismi, attraverso l’umorismo, il colore e l’ironia; essendo la derisione uno strumento plastico e critico interessante in un'epoca che percepisco come satura di discorsi, schemi e sovra-intellettualizzazione.

As a painter and sculptor, I explore the impact of our (digital) society on our minds, using derision and humor as my primary tools.
The fish is my central motif. A zodiac sign that has become a vehicle for meaning, it runs through my paintings and sculptures like a persistent thread. Each work is accompanied by a poetic text that extends the image into a distinct narrative universe.

Als Malerin und Bildhauerin beschäftige ich mich mit den Auswirkungen unserer (digitalen) Gesellschaft auf unseren Geist, wobei Spott und Humor meine wichtigsten Mittel sind.
Der Fisch ist meine zentrale Figur. Als Sternzeichen, das zum Träger von Bedeutung geworden ist, zieht er sich wie ein hartnäckiger roter Faden durch meine Gemälde und Skulpturen. Jedes Werk wird von einem poetischen Text begleitet, der das Bild in ein eigenständiges narratives Universum weiterführt.
Meine Arbeit verbindet Malerei auf Leinwand, Reliefbilder, Gipsskulpturen und Schrift im Dienste einer Ästhetik der Spott, in der scheinbare Leichtigkeit und formale Anspruchsvollheit nebeneinander bestehen.
Meine Absicht: eine ansprechende Lesart der heutigen Welt anzubieten, ohne zu moralisieren, durch Humor, Farbe und Ironie; wobei die Spottkunst ein interessantes plastisches und kritisches Mittel in einer Zeit ist, die ich als übersättigt mit Diskursen, Rahmenbedingungen und Überintellektualisierung empfinde.

Als schilder en beeldhouwer onderzoek ik de invloed van onze (digitale) samenleving op onze geest, met spot en humor als belangrijkste instrumenten.
De vis is mijn centrale figuur. Als sterrenbeeld dat een drager van betekenis is geworden, loopt hij als een hardnekkige rode draad door mijn schilderijen en sculpturen. Elk werk gaat vergezeld van een poëtische tekst die het beeld voortzet in een apart verhalend universum.
Mijn praktijk omvat schilderijen op doek, reliëfschilderijen, gipsen sculpturen en geschreven werk, ten dienste van een esthetiek van spot waarin schijnbare lichtzinnigheid en formele veeleisendheid naast elkaar bestaan.
