Grounding oneself in the present moment, taking a fresh look at the world, our lives, ‘real life’, and bringing rhythm and musicality to words: this is what drives Ello Papillon. Her inspiration is drawn from her experiences and emotions that flirt with the present and her ‘Super Eden’, but also with the hereafter, elsewhere, the other shore… another Eden, a more spiritual one. The ethereal, colourful and luminous lyrics explore the nature of our existence, sometimes with a touch of self-deprecation. The earth, the sea and the sky become one, giving way to a better world, a peaceful existence where love reigns. The musical style leans towards electro-pop. Each track is a tapestry of soundscapes often inspired by the 1980s, featuring keyboards, dreamy guitar and a looper. Ello’s sensitive and warm voice is carried by captivating melodies and harmonies that make our souls dance.

S’ancrer dans le moment présent, porter un regard neuf sur le monde, notre vie, la « vraie vie », donner du rythme et de la musicalité aux mots : voilà ce qui anime Ello Papillon. Ses sources d’inspiration sont puisées dans ses expériences, émotions flirtant avec le présent et son Super Eden, mais aussi avec l’après, l’ailleurs, l’autre rive… un autre Eden, plus spirituel. Les paroles éthérées, colorées et lumineuses questionnent sur nos existences, parfois avec auto-dérision. La terre, la mer et le ciel ne font plus qu’un, laissant place à un monde meilleur, une existence apaisée, où règne l’amour. L’univers musical est orienté chanson pop électro. Chaque titre est une toile aux textures sonores souvent inspirées des années 80, avec clavier, guitare planante et looper.
