Anglais Featuring %AB Aurora Kir%E1ly. *Parcours de regards* %BB, the Fernet-Branca Foundation presents Aurora Kir%E1ly’s first institutional exhibition in France. For thirty years, the Bucharest-based artist has explored what an image does: how it frames and shapes our gaze. Photographs, textiles, and sculptures make up a journey that ranges from personal memory and the body in motion to the textile factories of Mulhouse (FR), Resita (RO), and Liestal (CH), where she brings the workers’ gestures to light. Repetition, structure, and pattern echo the rhythms of production and reveal the body as a site of discipline and transformation.

This project has been designated a “Bicentennial of Photography” initiative by the Ministry of Culture and is part of the official Bicentennial program, running from September 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027.

Italien (Italie) Con %AB Aurora Kir%E1ly. Parcours de regards %BB, la Fondazione Fernet-Branca presenta la prima mostra istituzionale di Aurora Kir%E1ly in Francia. Da trent’anni, l’artista, che vive a Bucarest, si interroga su ciò che fa un’immagine: come inquadra e modella il nostro sguardo. Fotografie, tessuti e sculture compongono un percorso che spazia dalla memoria personale e dal corpo in movimento fino alle fabbriche tessili di Mulhouse (FR), Resita (RO) e Liestal (CH), dove l’artista rende visibili i gesti delle operaie. Ripetizione, struttura e motivo fanno eco ai ritmi della produzione e rivelano il corpo come luogo di disciplina e trasformazione.

Questo progetto ha ottenuto il marchio «Bicentenario della Fotografia» dal Ministero della Cultura e rientra nella programmazione ufficiale del Bicentenario, dal 1° settembre 2026 al 30 settembre 2027.

Al dertig jaar onderzoekt de in Boekarest gevestigde kunstenares wat een beeld teweegbrengt: hoe het onze blik kadert en vormgeeft. Foto’s, textiel en sculpturen vormen een parcours dat reikt van persoonlijke herinneringen en het lichaam in beweging tot de textielfabrieken van Mulhouse (FR), Resita (RO) en Liestal (CH), waar ze de gebaren van de arbeidsters zichtbaar maakt. Herhaling, structuur en motief weerspiegelen de ritmes van de productie en onthullen het lichaam als een plek van discipline en transformatie.

Dit project draagt het label ‘Tweehonderdjarig jubileum van de fotografie’ van het Ministerie van Cultuur en maakt deel uit van het officiële programma van het tweehonderdjarig jubileum, van 1 september 2026 tot en met 30 september 2027.

Allemand (Allemagne) Mit %AB Aurora Kir%E1ly. Parcours de regards %BB präsentiert die Fernet-Branca-Stiftung die erste institutionelle Ausstellung von Aurora Kir%E1ly in Frankreich. Seit dreißig Jahren hinterfragt die in Bukarest lebende Künstlerin, was ein Bild bewirkt: wie es unseren Blick einrahmt und prägt. Fotografien, Textilien und Skulpturen bilden einen Parcours, der von der persönlichen Erinnerung und dem Körper in Bewegung bis hin zu den Textilfabriken in Mulhouse (FR), Resita (RO) und Liestal (CH) reicht, wo sie die Gesten der Arbeiterinnen sichtbar macht. Wiederholung, Struktur und Motiv spiegeln die Rhythmen der Produktion wider und offenbaren den Körper als Ort der Disziplin und der Verwandlung.

Dieses Projekt wurde vom Kulturministerium mit dem Label „200 Jahre Fotografie“ ausgezeichnet und ist Teil des offiziellen Programms zum 200-jährigen Jubiläum, das vom 1. September 2026 bis zum 30. September 2027 läuft.
