After setting up their big top on the Cirque-Théâtre stage in 2023 with *Oraison*, Marie Molliens and her troupe return with *Hourvari* as part of a major European tour. This new production transports us into a tale where the circus body—a symbol of risk-taking and vitality—confronts the puppet, which is by nature manipulated and powerless. Both poetic and subversive, *Hourvari* plunges us into a world of restless vibrations, on the border between dreams and nightmares, seeking to awaken the wild spiritlurking within each of us, pitting our thirst for freedom against our need for security, and testing our capacity to resist. Four characters traverse this boisterous, clownish fable: Guignol, the rebellious marionette; Pinocchio, the puppet subjected to metamorphoses; the clown, a figure of turmoil and disorder; and the child, innocent and impertinent. True to his carnival-like and dreamlike aesthetic, Rasposo returns here to high-flying acrobatics (seesaw, balance beam, aerial acrobatics) and even chaos, all set to the music of a wild little orchestra.

Cette nouvelle création nous propulse dans un conte où le corps circassien, symbole de prise de risque et de vitalité, se confronte à la marionnette, par nature manipulée et impuissante. À la fois poétique et subversif, Hourvari nous plonge dans un univers aux vibrations intranquilles, aux confins des rêves et des cauchemars, cherchant à réveiller l’être désobéissant tapi en chacun de nous, mettant face à face notre soif de liberté et notre besoin de sécurité, sondant notre capacité à résister. Quatre figures traversent cette fable clownesque et tonitruante : Guignol, la marionnette contestataire ; Pinocchio, le pantin victime de métamorphoses ; le clown, figure du trouble et du désordre ; l’enfant, naïf et impertinent. Fidèle à son esthétique foraine et onirique, Rasposo renoue ici avec la performance de haute voltige (bascule, banquine, acrobatie aérienne) et sème le désordre au son d’un petit orchestre déchaîné.
