Scène conventionnée d'intérêt national Art en Territoire, Le Sillon développe un projet en interaction avec le territoire afin de toucher les publics les plus éloignés de la culture. Il programme des spectacles dans des lieux insolites, des espaces vastes ou intimes, ouverts ou clos, fréquentés habituellement pour d’autres usages. Le Sillon accompagne plusieurs compagnies accueillies en résidence de création sur le territoire : des projets pour l’espace public qui ont besoin d’aller à la rencontre d’habitants. Une manière de nourrir leur création mais aussi le projet du Théâtre.
Pour cela, Le Sillon s’est tourné vers les arts dans l’espace public, pas seulement la rue, mais tous les espaces, vastes ou intimes, ouverts ou clos, fréquentés habituellement pour d’autres usages que le spectacle : sous chapiteaux, dans des lieux polyvalents ou non dédiés (cafés, bibliothèques, etc.), dans des lieux insolites, dans des espaces publics, naturels ou patrimoniaux.
Le Sillon développe également tout au long de la Saison des ateliers de pratique artistique à la séance, à la journée, ou à l’année, autour du théâtre ou du chant.
Le Théâtre Le Sillon consacre également un volet important de son activité à l’éducation artistique et culturelle.
Le Théâtre Le Sillon est un service de la Communauté de communes du Clermontais.
Dans le cadre de la Scène conventionnée d’intérêt national Art en territoire, il est subventionné par le Ministère de la Culture – DRAC Occitanie Pyrénées Méditerranée, la région Occitanie Pyrénées Méditerranée et le Conseil départemental de l’Hérault.

Een programma met voorstellingen in het theater en daarbuiten, residenties voor inspiratie en creatie, en workshops voor artistieke beoefening. Het aanbod van Théâtre Le Sillon is rijk, levendig en dynamisch en strekt zich uit over alle gemeenten van de regio Clermont.
Als erkend podium van het nationale initiatief „Art en Territoire“ ontwikkelt Le Sillon een project in samenspel met de regio om ook het publiek te bereiken dat het verst van de cultuur afstaat. Het organiseert voorstellingen op ongewone locaties, in ruime of intieme ruimtes, open of gesloten, die doorgaans voor andere doeleinden worden gebruikt. Le Sillon begeleidt verschillende gezelschappen die in de regio een creatieve residentie hebben: projecten voor de openbare ruimte die de bewoners moeten gaan ontmoeten. Een manier om hun creatie te voeden, maar ook het project van het theater.

Diese Veranstaltungen beschränken sich jedoch nicht nur auf das Theatergebäude, sie werden auch bürgernah ausserhalb in den verschiedenen Ortschaften des Gemeindeverbandes des Clermontais in den dortigen Festsälen, auf den öffentlichen Plätzen abgehalten. Die Veranstaltungen wenden sich an ein breites Publikum jeden Alters. Es werden zudem das ganze Jahr über Theaterkurse für Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene angeboten.
