Originaria de Veules-les-Roses, Isabelle vive desde hace diez años en el Pays de Caux y pinta todos los días al aire libre.
Para ella, esta disciplina diaria es una forma de respirar, de respiración, esencial para su equilibrio. Aquí presenta dos aspectos de su trabajo.
Bordados sobre dibujos realizados en el paisaje, en la carretera o en el campo. Un trabajo lento, introspectivo, meditativo, preparado con mucha antelación.
También hay cuadros de gran formato de su serie Les Cent Ciels. A base de pequeños pasteles al óleo al aire libre, creados de forma rápida e instintiva, en ósmosis total con el mundo exterior, para captar la luz tan particular y encharcada del campo cauchois. Dos aproximaciones muy diferentes a un lenguaje común: la conexión con la naturaleza como estado del ser.

Isabelle komt oorspronkelijk uit Veules-les-Roses, maar woont al tien jaar in het Pays de Caux en schildert elke dag buiten.
