Espagnol La exposición permanente muestra la carrera de un escultor académico a través de las obras de Jean-Joseph Perraud, del Jura, que ganó el Premio de Roma en 1847. Las esculturas de su discípulo, Max Claudet, que se orientó hacia el movimiento realista, y las de sus contemporáneos, ofrecen un amplio panorama del arte estatuario del siglo XIX.
La colección de pinturas incluye obras de temática variada de los siglos XVI al XIX, de las escuelas francesa, italiana y nórdica. Obras maestras de Pieter Brueghel el Joven y Gustave Courbet puntúan esta presentación.
Dos salas, incluida la zona patrimonial de la antigua biblioteca, están dedicadas a exposiciones temporales, que presentan de forma rotativa las colecciones arqueológicas y de ciencias naturales.
