Radicata nelle tradizioni artigianali del Limousin – dalle ceramiche di Limoges ai tessuti di Aubusson – la mostra riunisce artisti affermati ed emergenti attorno a un obiettivo comune: inventare, a partire da risorse vegetali e minerali locali, alternative concrete ai colori tossici. Un manifesto concreto per una nuova ecologia cromatica.

In Jeremy Shaw's work, a limit is necessarily something to be transgressed, whether by physical, spiritual or technological means.
"Maximum Horizon" exploits the iconography of religion, science fiction and representations of the sublime. The exhibition creates contemplative spaces in the architecture of CIAP Vassivière that transform our perspective and explore both archaic and contemporary modes of representation.

Français (France) Pionnière dans le champ de l’art contemporain, "Alors nous irons trouver la couleur ailleurs" transforme la couleur en enjeu écologique majeur. Ancrée dans les savoir-faire du Limousin – des céramiques de Limoges aux textiles d’Aubusson – l’exposition réunit des artistes majeurs et émergents autour d’une ambition commune : inventer, à partir de ressources végétales et minérales locales, des alternatives concrètes aux couleurs toxiques. Un manifeste en actes pour une nouvelle écologie chromatique.
