Allemand (Allemagne) Im Herzen der Fußgängerzone mit ihren Geschäften steht das Arsenal Sainte-Barbe. Das gotische Gebäude wurde 1470 an der Stelle der ehemaligen mittelalterlichen Synagoge errichtet.
Im Jahr 1534 wurden hier aufgrund von Platzmangel im Arsenal Saint-Hilaire Waffen gelagert, weshalb es auch Arsenal Sainte Barbe, Schutzpatronin der Artilleristen, genannt wird.
Im 19. Jahrhundert wurde es wieder seiner ursprünglichen Funktion zugeführt (Lager für Weizen, Tabak und Hopfen).
Im Jahr 1901 wurde die erste Etage als Veranstaltungssaal eingerichtet und später in einen Versammlungssaal umgewandelt. Das zweite Stockwerk erhielt die Funktion eines Festsaals. Die beiden Funktionen als Festsaal und Versammlungsraum werden auch heute noch genutzt.
Über der gotischen Tür zum Erdgeschoss wurde eine doppelläufige Treppe errichtet. Der prächtige, für die rheinische Renaissance charakteristische Stufengiebel wird von einem dicken Storchennest gekrönt, das zum malerischen Gesamteindruck des Gebäudes beiträgt. An der Ecke der Fassaden befindet sich eine Statue der heiligen Barbara aus dem 20.
Jahrhundert. Die Statue kann von außen besichtigt werden oder je nach Ausstellungs- und Veranstaltungsprogramm.

Italien (Italie) Nel cuore della zona pedonale e dei suoi negozi si trova l'Arsenale Sainte-Barbe. Questo edificio in stile gotico fu costruito nel 1470 sul sito dell'antica sinagoga medievale.
Nel 1534, a causa della mancanza di spazio nell'arsenale di Saint-Hilaire, le armi furono immagazzinate qui, da cui il nome dell'arsenale Sainte Barbe, patrona degli artiglieri.
Nel XIX secolo fu restituito alla sua funzione originaria di magazzino per il grano, il tabacco e il luppolo.

En 1534, par manque de place à l’arsenal Saint-Hilaire, des armes y sont entreposées, d’où son nom d'arsenal Sainte Barbe, patronne des artilleurs.
Au XIXe siècle, il retrouve sa fonction première (entrepôt de blé, tabac et houblon).
En 1901, le premier étage est aménagé en salle de spectacles puis transformé en salle de réunions. Le second étage prend alors la fonction de salle des fêtes. Ces attributions de salle des fêtes et réunions sont encore siennes actuellement.
On élève au-dessus de la porte gothique du rez-de-chaussée un escalier à double volée. Le magnifique pignon à redents, caractéristique de la Renaissance rhénane, est surmonté d'un épais nid de cigognes qui ajoute au pittoresque de l'ensemble. A l’angle des façades, une statue de sainte Barbe datant du XXe siècle.
