Il s’adresse autant aux amateurs éclairés et scientifiques qu’aux néophytes, aux adultes et aux enfants.

Le musée organise une exposition temporaire annuelle, mettant en exergue une partie de ses pièces archéologiques ou patrimoniales, qui permet une (re)découverte permanente des collections. Cet ensemble riche et variée, a été récolté par Marius Vazeilles (1881 – 1973) un humaniste qui travailla à l’amélioration de la condition humaine sur le Plateau de Millevaches. Il fut ainsi forestier, archéologue, ethnologue et militant politique.

Het richt zich zowel tot verlichte en wetenschappelijke amateurs als tot neofieten, volwassenen en kinderen.

Het museum organiseert jaarlijks een tijdelijke tentoonstelling die enkele van zijn archeologische of erfgoedstukken belicht, waardoor de collecties permanent kunnen worden (her)ontdekt. Deze rijke en gevarieerde collectie werd verzameld door Marius Vazeilles (1881 ? 1973), een humanist die zich inzette voor de verbetering van de menselijke conditie op het Plateau de Millevaches. Hij was boswachter, archeoloog, etnoloog en politiek activist.
