Anglais Everyday objects, relics, trash, works of art... the material world around us is the preferred terrain of artist Estelle Hoffert, a photographer and image director.
Through her work, she explores the nature of objects, highlighting the importance of how we view them—a perspective that varies depending on the context in which they are perceived. The exhibition brings together archaeological collections, works of art, and personal collections, and marks the conclusion of a year-long regional residency.
Public opening: Friday, September 11, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Free admission; registration required.
This residency is organized in partnership with Archéologie Alsace, the Centre de Conservation et d’Études d’Alsace, the DRAC Grand Est, the FRAC Alsace, the Beatus Rhenanus Middle School, Abrapa, and the Emma’cs Center in Scherwiller.
