Anglais La Mine is delighted to welcome Swing Cannelle for a concert.
The trio (featuring vocals, guitars, double bass and alto saxophone), which moves between gypsy jazz and Latin music, draws as much from the Creole roots of swing as from the Brazilian and Cuban roots of the cinnamon tree.
As they drift lazily down the Rio Grande, our crew gathers up the laughter and lamentations rising from each bank like an ode to dance (USA, Brazil, Cuba, Italy...).
The echo of this journey through the Americas resonates in the saxophone’s breath or the vibration of the strings in tracks such as ‘Swing 85’, ‘Come Prima’ and ‘Tres palabras’...
Free admission / Suitable for all ages.
