Anglais Jeanne MOYNOT and Stéphanie CHERPIN, who have been artists-in-residence in Mayenne since January, are presenting an exhibition titled G%C2T%C9ES at three heritage sites in the department from June 19 to September 20. At the Château de Sainte-Suzanne, they combine their site-specific installations with works selected from the collections of the Regional Contemporary Art Fund (FRAC) of the Pays de la Loire. At the Jublains Museum, several of the artist duo’s creations will engage in a dialogue with the archaeological objects in the permanent exhibition. Finally, at the Robert Tatin Museum, they will offer an intimate, cross-referential perspective between their works and the paintings of Marie PINCOUR,great-great-grandmother of Stéphanie CHERPIN, drawn from the collections of the Museum of Naïve Art and Singular Arts of the City of Laval.
Thus, they invite visitors to move between the three sites as one might leaf through a travel journal: a constellation of forms in diverse materials, a cartography by accumulation, fragmented narratives. There are multiple entry points; everyone is invited to find their own place within it.

Néerlandais (Pays-Bas) Jeanne MOYNOT en Stéphanie CHERPIN, die sinds januari in residentie zijn in Mayenne, presenteren van 19 juni tot 20 september een tentoonstelling getiteld G%C2T%C9ES op de drie erfgoedlocaties van het departement. In het kasteel van Sainte-Suzanne combineren ze hun ter plaatse opgebouwde installatie met werken die zijn geselecteerd uit de collecties van het Fonds Régional d’Art Contemporain (FRAC) van de Pays de la Loire. In het museum van Jublains gaan verschillende creaties van het kunstenaarsduo in dialoog met de archeologische voorwerpen van de permanente tentoonstelling. Ten slotte bieden ze in het Robert Tatin-museum een kruisbestuiving en intieme blik tussen hun werken en de schilderijen van Marie PINCOUR, deover-overgrootmoeder van Stéphanie CHERPIN, afkomstig uit de collecties van het Musée d’Art Naïf et d’Arts Singuliers van de stad Laval.

En el castillo de Sainte-Suzanne, combinan su construcción escénica in situ con obras seleccionadas de las colecciones del Fondo Regional de Arte Contemporáneo (FRAC) de los Países del Loira. En el Museo de Jublains, varias creaciones del dúo de artistas dialogarán con los objetos arqueológicos del recorrido de la exposición permanente. Por último, en el Museo Robert Tatin, propondrán una mirada cruzada e íntima entre sus obras y las pinturas de Marie PINCOUR, ttatarabuela de Stéphanie CHERPIN, procedentes de las colecciones del Museo de Arte Naïf y de Artes Singulares de la ciudad de Laval.

Au Château de Sainte-Suzanne, elles associent leur construction scénique in-situ à des œuvres choisies parmi les collections du Fonds Régional d’Art Contemporain (FRAC) des Pays de la Loire.
