Seit Ende der 1970er Jahre trägt I Muvrini die Stimme Korsikas weit über dessen Grenzen hinaus. Um die Brüder Alain und Jean-François Bernardini herum hat die Gruppe maßgeblich dazu beigetragen, den korsischen mehrstimmigen Gesang und die korsische Sprache bekannt zu machen und sie gleichzeitig mit Musik aus aller Welt in einen Dialog zu bringen.
Von Sting über MC Solaar bis hin zu Véronique Sanson – I Muvrini haben zahlreiche künstlerische Begegnungen gepflegt und im Laufe mehrerer Jahrzehnte ein einzigartiges, populäres und zutiefst humanistisches Werk geschaffen.
Eine symbolträchtige Formation, deren Musik zu einer der großen Stimmen des zeitgenössischen Korsikas geworden ist.
