Was wäre, wenn der Körper – selbst mit einer Behinderung – keine Einschränkung wäre, sondern ein Ausgangspunkt, um innovativ zu sein, Bewegung neu zu gestalten und zu verlängern? Wir werden aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln untersuchen, wie industrielle und medizinische Technologien heute unser Verhältnis zum Körper neu definieren und eine neue Vorstellung vom Körper vorschlagen oder aufzwingen.
Gabriel Perez analysiert den Körper nicht als bloßes biologisches Objekt, sondern als psychischen und subjektiven Träger, als Vektor von Bedeutung und Engagement im Handeln. Die Technologie verändert diese Bedeutung und erzwingt eine neue politische Vorstellungswelt, die aus dieser Beziehung zwischen Körper, Technologie und Arbeit entsteht.
Um diese Ausführungen zu veranschaulichen, werden Jean-Marc Popot und Lionel Mugnier erläutern, wie die Prothese konzipiert, hergestelltund angepasst wird, um sich in den Körper zu integrieren, wobei innovative Materialien, Präzisionsverfahren und ein tiefgreifendes Verständnis der Biomechanik zum Einsatz kommen. Benoît Lyautey wird die Grenzen des Körpers am Arbeitsplatz thematisieren, wo körperliche Belastungen und Muskel-Skelett-Erkrankungen eine große Herausforderung darstellen. La tecnología hace evolucionar este sentido e impone un nuevo imaginario político surgido de esta relación entre cuerpo, tecnología y trabajo.
Para ilustrar estas ideas, Jean-Marc Popot y Lionel Mugnier explicarán cómo se diseña, fabricay se ajusta para integrarse en el cuerpo, basándose en materiales innovadores, procesos de precisión y un profundo conocimiento de la biomecánica. We will explore, through a cross-disciplinary lens, how industrial and medical technologies are currently redefining our relationship with the body and proposing—or imposing—a renewed conception of the body.
Gabriel Perez analyzes the body not as a mere biological object, but as a psychological and subjective medium, a vehicle for meaning and engagement in action. Technology transforms this meaning and imposes a new political imagination arising from this relationship between the body, technology, and work.
To illustrate these points, Jean-Marc Popot and Lionel Mugnier will explain how prosthetics are designed, manufactured,and adjusted to integrate with the body, drawing on innovative materials, precision processes, and a detailed understanding of biomechanics. Benoît Lyautey will address the limitations of the body in the workplace, where physical strain and musculoskeletal disorders pose a major challenge. How do exoskeletons and ergonomics protect the body and support work-related movements?
Through personal accounts and expert insights, this event invites us to rethink what it means to have a body today—and to what extent technology can and should support it.
