Anglais %C0 At the intersection of puppetry, poetry, and visual installation, MURAILLE is an intimate and visceral performance in which Louis Ponsolle revisits his teenage years—a time where child psychiatrists in stiletto heels, troubled teens, and ghostly punk-dog figures all intersect.
Accompanied on stage by Constant Fossard, he lends his voice to nurses, psychiatrists, and friends in a mental theater where reenactments, projections, memories, and daydreams intertwine: the humiliations of middle school, the violence of high school, the clandestine parties in the woods, and that tipping point where reality wavers.
Through her personal narrative, she paints a portrait of an anxious generation in search of meaning. The focus is as much on addressing young people’s mental health as it is on exploring creativity as a means of self-preservation. Conceived as a poetic sanctuary—a cabin for thinking and healing our wounds—MURAILLE transforms the experience of living on the margins into luminous theatrical material.
