Anglais As part of the AR(t]CHIPEL festival, the CCC OD’s transparent galleries are hosting an exhibition showcasing forty years of sculptural work by artist Ghislaine Vappereau, centered on the domestic world of the kitchen.
Since the beginning of her artistic practice, she has worked within the field of sculpture in dialogue with the domestic space of the kitchen—an ordinary, commonly shared space—revealing its sociological and even ethnographic connotations.
The exhibition adapts to the layout of the galleries and presents, as viewed from the outside, different stages of this research. It offers visitors a journey of discovery as they walk along the three facades. The pieces are not arranged in chronological order; instead, the installation is punctuated by groupings, associations, and breaks
