Op zoek naar Gallische gebedshuizen in Bourgondië-Franche-Comté.
In onze collectieve verbeelding wordt het geloof van de Galliërs meestal geassocieerd met de natuur en de figuur van de druïde met een sikkel in zijn hand. Vandaag de dag vertelt de archeologie een heel ander verhaal.
De laatste 30 jaar van archeologisch onderzoek hebben een ander panorama aan het licht gebracht, met plaatsen die gereserveerd zijn voor bijeenkomsten en die sporen van rituele praktijken bewaren in de vorm van opeenhopingen van voorwerpen.
Het kiezen van een wapen, een sieraad of een vaas, soms het breken ervan, om het vervolgens in de grond te deponeren in deze gereserveerde ruimtes, onthult andere preoccupaties dan die van het dagelijks leven. Was het om een godheid, een voorouder, een stamhoofd of een gebeurtenis te eren?
Meer dan in welke andere regio dan ook verzamelen archeologen in Bourgondië-Franche-Comté een schat aan informatie over deze bijzondere plekken. De rituele praktijken van de Galliërs worden duidelijker en de organisatie van de ruimtes die voor hen gereserveerd zijn, creëert een echt heilig landschap.
Deze tentoonstelling nodigt je uit om het land van de Aedui, Sekan, Lingon en Mandubische volkeren te verkennen, op zoek naar de materiële overblijfselen van deze vergeten overtuigingen.

Die letzten 30 Jahre archäologischer Forschung zeigen ein anderes Bild: Orte, die für Versammlungen eingerichtet wurden und die Spuren ritueller Praktiken in Form von Ansammlungen von Objekten bewahren.
Das Auswählen einer Waffe, eines Schmuckstücks oder eines Gefäßes, das manchmal zerbrochen und dann in den Boden dieser reservierten Räume gelegt wird, deutet auf andere Sorgen als die des Alltags hin. Ging es darum, eine Gottheit, einen Vorfahren, einen Anführer oder ein Ereignis zu ehren?
Die Forschungen der Archäologen in der Region Bourgogne-Franche-Comté liefern mehr als in jeder anderen Region zahlreiche Informationen über diese besonderen Orte. Die rituellen Praktiken der Gallier werden immer klarer und die Organisation der ihnen vorbehaltenen Räume zeichnet eine echte sakrale Landschaft.

Scegliere un'arma, un gioiello o un vaso, a volte romperlo, per poi depositarlo nel terreno in questi spazi riservati, rivela preoccupazioni diverse da quelle della vita quotidiana. Si trattava di onorare una divinità, un antenato, un capo o un evento?
