Het 3,1 kilometer lange circuit, met zijn ruige terrein, biedt alle soorten bochten: scherpe bochten, dubbele bochten, links-rechts, schuine bochten, rechte stukken - alles wat een geweldig circuit uitmaakt.
De Mas du Clos is een van de circuits die nog in gebruik zijn met een niet-septische lay-out. Het staat bekend om zijn technische aard, maar ook om de emotie die het oproept, een emotie gemengd met respect en vrees.
