Description longue de la ressource.
GESCHLOSSEN vom 1. August bis einschließlich 15. August 2026

Anglais In Normandy, climate change is already taking effect in our regions. Landscapes are changing as a result of several now-observable shifts: rising temperatures, changes in rainfall patterns, an increase in extreme weather events, and coastal erosion.
These changes are affecting our cities, rural areas, and coastlines, and directly challenge the ways we live, produce, and plan our communities.
The exhibition “Territory and Climate: Understand, Discuss, Act” invites visitors to explore these changes on the scale of Normandy. Drawing on the scientific work of the Normandy-based IPCC*, it sheds light on ongoing climate changes and highlights initiatives already underway on the ground.
Through architectural, urban planning, and landscape projects, the exhibition demonstrates how municipalities, public officials, professionals, and residents are experimenting with new ways to plan their territories and adapt their lifestyles in the face of climate change.
Because climate change is already redefining the conditions for land use and housing, this exhibition invites everyone to understand the changes underway, discuss future choices, and collectively envision the territories of tomorrow.
*The Normandy IPCC is a group of regional experts (scientists and climate specialists). Their mission is to translate, at the regional level in Normandy, the major findings of the international IPCC, making them concrete and understandable to everyone.
They draw on local knowledge and data to describe today’s climate and anticipate how it will evolve in the coming decades, through 2050 and 2100.
Throughout the exhibition, check out the events related to the climate transition in Normandy: meetings, city readings, tours, screenings, and more.
The exhibition will be available on the road starting in January 2027
A project carried out in collaboration with the Institute for Transitions at the University of Rouen ?
With financial support from the Normandy Region ? ACTED ? the Universities of Rouen, Caen, and Le Havre ? the DRAC Normandy ? The Rouen Normandy Metropolis
Exhibition on view from June 19, 2026, to December 31, 2026
