Français (France) Dans un monde où tout tourne trop vite, plus vite que la Terre autour du Soleil, dans ce monde où tout peut basculer, une main tendue vers l’autre peut aider à tenir debout.
Sur un objet massif et mouvant, comme une toupie géante de six mètres de diamètre, deux protagonistes tissent et entrelacent leurs existences. Le mouvement et les situations parfois acrobatiques viennent questionner leur relation. Sans contrôle sur les mobilités multiples de l’objet, ce duo malicieux et virtuose s’obstine à s’allier.
Jonathan Guichard s’est construit dans l’univers du cirque, Lauren Bolze s’est développée dans la danse contemporaine. Avec Thaumazein, mot grec signifiant l’étonnement qui nous saisit face à l’inhabituel, le duo invente des espaces scénographiques et sonores, à la croisée du cirque et de la danse, pour explorer de nouvelles hypothèses de corps en mouvement.
