Depuis bientôt vingt ans, les créations de la compagnie normande L’Éolienne portent l’identité circassienne de Florence Caillon, qui y développe un « cirque chorégraphié ». Avec cette nouvelle création, elle puise dans le mythe d’Orphée et d’Eurydice pour explorer les thèmes de la confiance et du doute. Dans notre société saturée d’informations contradictoires, où les repères s’estompent entre réel et virtuel, à quelle parole accordons nous notre confiance ? Le doute est-il devenu le seul rempart contre la désinformation ? Ce ne sont pas une mais six Orphées, mystérieuses figures mythologiques contemporaines se jouant des codes de genre, qui traversent la brume pour se présenter à nous. Enchaînant mains à mains, portés acrobatiques et voltige, ce chœur d’acrobates partage une partition acro-dansée engagée qui côtoie les hauteurs. Dans ce ballet virevoltant et diaphane, infusé par une musique originale où l’on retrouve les grands thèmes de Gluck, Monteverdi et Offenbach, les liens entre partenaires de jeu se tissent doucement, se brisent parfois, mais se méritent toujours. Car la confiance est fragile : un faux pas, et tout peut s’effondrer.
Tempo ! est proposé par le Rive Gauche, scène conventionnée d’intérêt national danse de Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray, en partenariat avec dix structures culturelles de la métropole rouennaise et au Havre.

Desde hace casi veinte años, las creaciones de la compañía normanda L’Écolienne reflejan la identidad circense de Florence Caillon, quien desarrolla en ellas un «circo coreográfico». Con esta nueva creación, se inspira en el mito de Orfeo y Eurídice para explorar los temas de la confianza y la duda. En nuestra sociedad saturada de información contradictoria, donde los límites entre lo real y lo virtual se difuminan, ¿en qué palabra depositamos nuestra confianza? ¿Se ha convertido la duda en el único baluarte contra la desinformación? No es una, sino seis Orfeas, misteriosas figuras mitológicas contemporáneas que se burlan de los códigos de género, las que atraviesan la niebla para presentarse ante nosotros. Encadenando manos con manos, figuras acrobáticas y piruetas, este coro de acróbatas interpreta una partitura de acróbacia y danza comprometida que roza las alturas. En este ballet vertiginoso y diáfano, impregnado de una música original en la que se reconocen los grandes temas de Gluck, Monteverdi y Offenbach, los lazos entre los compañeros de escena se tejen suavemente, a veces se rompen, pero siempre se ganan a pulso. Porque la confianza es frágil: un paso en falso y todo puede derrumbarse.

Al bijna twintig jaar weerspiegelen de creaties van het Normandische gezelschap L’Éolienne de circusidentiteit van Florence Caillon, die daar een „choreografisch circus“ ontwikkelt. Met deze nieuwe creatie put ze uit de mythe van Orpheus en Eurydice om de thema’s vertrouwen en twijfel te verkennen. In onze samenleving, die overspoeld wordt door tegenstrijdige informatie en waarin de grenzen tussen de werkelijkheid en de virtuele wereld vervagen, aan wiens woord schenken we dan ons vertrouwen? Is twijfel het enige bolwerk tegen desinformatie geworden? Het zijn niet één, maar zes Orfeën, mysterieuze hedendaagse mythologische figuren die spelen met genreconventies, die door de mist komen om zich aan ons te presenteren. Hand in hand, met acrobatische houdingen en luchtacrobatiek, brengt dit koor van acrobaten een geëngageerde acrodanspartituur ten uitvoer die de hoogten bereikt. In dit wervelende en doorschijnende ballet, doordrenkt met originele muziek waarin de grote thema’s van Gluck, Monteverdi en Offenbach terug te vinden zijn, worden de banden tussen de danspartners langzaam gesmeed, soms verbroken, maar altijd opnieuw verdiend. Want vertrouwen is kwetsbaar: één misstap, en alles kan instorten.

Es ist nicht eine, sondern es sind sechs Orphien – geheimnisvolle, zeitgenössische mythologische Figuren, die mit den Konventionen der Geschlechterrollen spielen –, die durch den Nebel treten, um sich uns zu präsentieren. Hand in Hand, mit akrobatischen Hebefiguren und Luftakrobatik präsentiert dieser Akrobatenchor eine engagierte Akro-Tanz-Partitur, die bis in die Höhen reicht. In diesem wirbelnden und durchscheinenden Ballett, untermalt von einer Originalmusik, in der sich die großen Themen von Gluck, Monteverdi und Offenbach wiederfinden, entstehen die Verbindungen zwischen den Darstellern sanft, zerbrechen manchmal, müssen aber immer wieder neu verdient werden. For nearly twenty years, the productions of the Normandy-based company L’Éolienne have embodied the circus identity of Florence Caillon, who has developed a “choreographed circus” style there. With this new production, she draws on the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice to explore the themes of trust and doubt. In our society saturated with contradictory information, where the lines between the real and the virtual are blurring, whose words do we trust? Has doubt become the only bulwark against misinformation? It is not one but six Orphes—mysterious contemporary mythological figures who play with gender norms—who emerge from the mist to present themselves to us. Linking hands, performing acrobatic lifts and aerial maneuvers, this chorus of acrobats shares a dynamic acro-dance routine that soars to new heights. In this whirling, ethereal ballet, infused with original music that echoes the great themes of Gluck, Monteverdi, and Offenbach, the bonds between the performers are gently woven, sometimes broken, but always earned. For trust is fragile: one false step, and everything can come crashing down.
