Ultima opera composta da Frédéric Chopin in Polonia prima dell'esilio, il Primo Concerto rivela un giovane innamorato e conquistatore. Scopriremo il nato in Mosella Jonathan Fournel, lanciato nel 2021 dal suo trionfo al Concorso Regina Elisabetta. Chopin condivide il conto con l'amico Franz Liszt, che compose il poema sinfonico Festklänge (Suoni festivi) per il proprio matrimonio con la principessa Carolyne zu Sayn-Wittgenstein, che non ebbe mai luogo.
