Dans cet atelier, nous vous proposons de découvrir les différentes étapes de fabrication d'un carnet relié à la main. Vous commencerez par composer votre carnet en choisissant et en assemblant les différents éléments qui le constituent : les feuilles, les couvertures et les éventuels éléments décoratifs. Vous apprendrez ensuite à préparer les pages, à réaliser les perforations et à effectuer le laçage caractéristique de la reliure japonaise, qui permet de maintenir l'ensemble du carnet tout en créant un motif graphique sur sa couverture.
Pensé comme un temps de découverte et de pratique, l'atelier permet à chacun de s'approprier les gestes de la reliure et de repartir avec un carnet entièrement réalisé de ses propres mains. Une attention particulière est portée aux matières et aux finitions afin que chaque participant puisse créer un objet personnel, à la fois utile et esthétique.L'atelier est ouvert à tous, sans prérequis, et tout le matériel nécessaire est fourni.
