Vieux is a traditional folk singing duo, performing mainly songs from the Gallo region. Jérémie and Louise share this repertoire far and wide, wherever people are willing to listen—sometimes in bars, sometimes in people’s homes by the fireplace. They’re happy to get the audience singing along if they’re up for it. Or they’ll leave them alone if they’d rather just listen. The stories they tell are bizarre, chilling, zany, funny, or lighthearted. Probably just like our lives. An inexplicable mix, with its share of intense emotions.

Vieux es un dúo de canto tradicional, principalmente de la región del Gallo. Jérémie y Louise comparten este repertorio por doquier, allá donde la gente quiera escucharlos, ya sea en bares o en casa de algún vecino, junto al fuego. Les encanta hacer cantar al público si este se anima. O bien le dejan en paz si prefiere limitarse a escuchar. Las historias que cuentan son extrañas, espeluznantes, disparatadas, divertidas o ligeras. Probablemente como nuestras vidas. Una mezcla inexplicable, con su buena dosis de emociones fuertes.

Jérémie e Louise propongono questo repertorio un po’ qua e un po’ là, ovunque si abbia voglia di ascoltarli, a volte nei bar, a volte a casa di qualcuno davanti al caminetto. Se il pubblico è d’accordo, lo coinvolgono volentieri nel canto. Oppure lo lasciano in pace se preferisce limitarsi ad ascoltare. Le storie che raccontano sono bizzarre, raccapriccianti, stravaganti, divertenti o spensierate. Probabilmente proprio come le nostre vite. Un mix inspiegabile, con la sua dose di forti emozioni.

Vieux is een duo dat traditionele volksliederen zingt, voornamelijk uit de Gallo-regio. Jérémie en Louise delen dit repertoire links en rechts, overal waar men naar hen wil luisteren, nu eens in cafés, dan weer bij mensen thuis bij het haardvuur. Ze laten het publiek graag meezingen als het daarvoor openstaat. Of ze laten het met rust als het liever alleen maar luistert. De verhalen die ze vertellen zijn bizar, huiveringwekkend, chaotisch, grappig of luchtig. Waarschijnlijk net als onze levens. Een onverklaarbare mengeling, met een flinke dosis heftige emoties.

Ils font volontiers chanter le public s'il est partant. Ou bien ils lui foutent la paix s'il préfère être écoutant. Les histoires qu'ils racontent sont bizarres, glaçantes, foutraques, drôles ou légères. Probablement comme nos vies. Un mélange inexplicable, avec son lot de grosses émotions.
