Tous leurs talents réunis composent une bluffante palette de cirque : équilibres sur chaise, clown, voltige et acrobaties. Iels sortent le grand jeu ! Mais la jouent collectif avant tout. Autour d’une grande table centrale de sept mètres de long, stable ou volante, hissée comme un mât du sol au plafond et entourés d'un tas d’objets suspendus ou en équilibre, ils défient le raisonnable et le convenable sans peur du ridicule. Voix, contrebasse, accordéon, guitare et clarinettes forment la bande-son de leur quête aussi optimiste qu’absurde. Et puis il se met à pleuvoir, comme ça, gratis. On se dit que c'est sûrement le début du déluge, mais on fait comme si ce n'était qu’un petit crachin normand. Alors le chapiteau devient un espace à explorer de toute part, de la coupole jusqu'aux gradins, de l'entrée jusqu'à la sortie. Avec cette fresque circassienne détonante qui porte haut les couleurs du vivre-ensemble, Galapiat Cirque fait tomber le rideau de la saison 26/27 de la plus belle des façons.

Combining all their talents, they present a stunning array of circus arts: chair balancing, clowning, aerial acts, and acrobatics. They pull out all the stops! But above all, they work as a team. Gathered around a large central table seven meters long—whether stationary or suspended—hoistedlike a mast from floor to ceiling and surrounded by a host of suspended or balanced objects, they defy reason and convention without fear of ridicule. Al hun talenten samen zorgen voor een verbluffend circusrepertoire: evenwichtsoefeningen op een stoel, clownerie, luchtacrobatiek en acrobatiek. Ze halen alles uit de kast! Maar bovenal spelen ze als een team. Rond een grote centrale tafel van zeven meter lang, die zowel stabiel als zwevend is,als een mast van de vloer tot het plafond en omringd door een hoop hangende of balancerende voorwerpen, tarten ze het redelijke en het gepaste zonder angst om belachelijk te worden. Zang, contrabas, accordeon, gitaar en klarinetten vormen de soundtrack van hun even optimistische als absurde zoektocht. En dan begint het te regenen, zomaar, gratis. Je denkt dat dit verdomme het begin van de zondvloed is, maar je doet alsof het slechts een beetje Normandische motregen is. Zo wordt de circustent een ruimte die van alle kanten verkend moet worden, van de koepel tot de tribunes, van de ingang tot de uitgang. Met dit opvallende circusfresco dat de vlag van het samenleven hoog houdt, laat Galapiat Cirque het doek van het seizoen 26/27 op de mooist mogelijke manier vallen.
„Het gaat regenen”, als een voorteken. Een regen waarin je zoekt naar manieren om overeind te blijven terwijl alles instort. We zaaien zaadjes van zachte woede en harde liefde (...). Um einen großen, sieben Meter langen Tisch in der Mitte herum, der mal stabil steht, mal schwebt,wie ein Mast vom Boden bis zur Decke und umgeben von einer Vielzahl hängender oder balancierender Gegenstände, trotzen sie dem Vernünftigen und Anständigen, ohne Angst vor der Lächerlichkeit. Gesang, Kontrabass, Akkordeon, Gitarre und Klarinetten bilden den Soundtrack zu ihrer ebenso optimistischen wie absurden Suche. Und dann fängt es an zu regnen, einfach so, umsonst. Man denkt sich, dass das verdammt noch mal der Beginn der Sintflut ist, tut aber so, als wäre es nur ein kleiner normannischer Nieselregen.
