An Amavada production featuring the Pantagrulair Quintet This 20th-century cabaret will take you on a musical journey from the pavement to the local eatery, via the concert hall. Take note! This is a truly exceptional concert: four singers and seven musicians – that’s no small feat. And it’s going to have a real Belle Époque feel to it. A wind quintet, a pianist and a guitarist will accompany – either in turn or all together – a repertoire of songs dating back over a century. The singers will frequently change costumes, designed by Julie Duclut-Rasse, to move from operetta to street songs, from light-hearted or sensual tunes to the politically engaged verses of *Le Chat Noir*. A few props and period images compiled by Romain Sadier will provide a fitting backdrop to the concert. Attention ! Ce concert est exceptionnel : 4 chanteurs et 7 musiciens, ce n'est pas rien. Et ça va sonner Belle époque. Un quintette à vent, une pianiste et un guitariste accompagnent alternativement ou tous ensemble un répertoire de chansons qui ont plus d'un siècle. Les chanteuses et chanteurs changeront souvent de costumes, crées par Julie Duclut-Rasse, pour passer de l'opérette à la chanson de rue, de la chanson idiote ou sensuelle aux couplets engagés du Chat noir. Quelques éléments de décor et des images d'époque compilées par Romain Sadier viendront illustrer judicieusement le concert.
