Het huidige gebouw werd herbouwd in de 19e eeuw, op de fundamenten van de voormalige kerk van de onafhankelijke benedictijner priorij van Saint Pierre de Montmajour (12e-15e eeuw). El edificio actual fue reconstruido en el siglo XIX, sobre los cimientos de la antigua iglesia del priorato benedictino independiente de Saint Pierre de Montmajour (siglos XII-XV).
