De kerk staat sinds 1926 op de monumentenlijst en is onlangs gerenoveerd. De gemeente Saint-Pierre-Azif nodigt het publiek uit om dit Normandische erfgoed op een bewonderenswaardige plek te komen ontdekken.
De architectuur dateert uit drie periodes: de 12e eeuw voor het koor (voormalige landsheerlijke kapel) en de Lombardische klokkentoren. De late 15e eeuw voor het schip, met zijn raamwerk in de vorm van een omgekeerde scheepsromp en zijn gewelf van merrains (houten planken voor vaten). De zeshoekige sacristie dateert uit de 17e eeuw. Meer dan 4.500 kastanjehouten duigen en 60.000 spijkers waren nodig voor het gewelf van het schip tijdens de renovatiewerkzaamheden.
Bezienswaardig is ook de verbazingwekkende collectie van negen schilderijen van meesters van de Vlaamse school uit de 16e en 17e eeuw.
