Français (France) Aux antipodes l'une de l'autre, Irving et Ami travaillent à la fois indépendamment et ensemble, utilisant la mosaïque, le collage et le dessin pour représenter les couches complexes des archétypes féminins : la jeune fille, la mère, la chasseuse, l'amante, la mystique, la sage et la reine. Chaque artiste mène une pratique solo solide, tandis que leurs œuvres collaboratives sont une confluence harmonieuse de couleurs, de symbolisme et d'idées. Pour Ami et Irving, la mosaïque devient un langage permettant d'explorer les thèmes de la ruine et du renouveau à travers le prisme des cycles de changement historiques et contemporains, reflétés dans la vie des femmes. Anglais At opposite ends of the spectrum, Irving and Ami work both independently and together, using mosaic, collage and drawing to represent the complex layers of female archetypes: maiden, mother, hunter, lover, mystic, sage and queen. Each artist has a strong solo practice, while their collaborative works are a harmonious confluence of color, symbolism and ideas. For Ami and Irving, mosaic becomes a language for exploring themes of ruin and renewal through the prism of historical and contemporary cycles of change, reflected in the lives of women.
