Le nouvel EP « El Sistema » ne déroge pas à ce son si typique rendant reconnaissable parmi 1000 la signature des Puntos. Enregistré au Studio garage (Paris 20e) par Tristan Mazire, c’est un retour dans ce studio tant affectionné par le groupe (Album « SIOH » et « 10 ans ferme »). Efficace et néanmoins pointu, « El sistema » est à l’image de là où en est le groupe … Préférant la qualité à la quantité … Pas de remplissage, juste de l’essentiel et du sens !

Le TWO TONE CLUB revient avec « Don’t Look Back », son 4eme album… 10 ans après le remarqué « Now is the time ». Et une fois encore, les 9 Rude Boys ont su s’entourer : Apres Victor Rice et Brian Dixon, ils ont souhaité collaborer avec le producteur Tony Platt (Bob Marley, AC/DC, Asaf Avidan, et tant d’autres). Enregistré à « Daft Studio » (Liège), mixé à « Le Studio » (Londres), et masterisé à « Air Studios » (Londres), le résultat est simplement hallucinant, de par la richesse musicale et l’originalité des 14 compositions.
Emmenés par Linton, chanteur charismatique au timbre de voix unique, le combo balance des rythmiques incendiaires et des lignes de cuivres étincelantes. Le style est riche et varié, oscillant entre swing 60s (ska, rocksteady, early reggae) et gros sons british, typiques de la vague 2Tone des 80s.

Als overblijver van de ska-punk uit de jaren ’90, diep beïnvloed door de alternatieve rock uit de jaren ’80, combineert LOS TRES PUNTOS de levendigheid van ska met de woede van punkrock tot een explosieve mix. Een onstuimig en meedogenloos ritme, versterkt door een virtuoze blazerssectie, waarbij de in het Frans en Spaans gezongen teksten een levendig beeld schetsen van het dagelijks leven in onze donkere en gekwelde tijd.

De TWO TONE CLUB keert terug met %AB Don’t Look Back %BB, hun vierde album? Tien jaar na het opmerkelijke %AB Now is the time %BB. En opnieuw hebben de 9 Rude Boys zich met de juiste mensen omringd: na Victor Rice en Brian Dixon wilden ze samenwerken met producer Tony Platt (Bob Marley, AC/DC, Asaf Avidan en vele anderen). Opgenomen in %E0 %AB Daft Studio %BB (Luik), gemixt in %E0 %AB Le Studio %BB (Londen) en gemasterd in %E0 %AB Air Studios %BB (Londen), is het resultaat ronduit verbluffend, dankzij de muzikale rijkdom en de originaliteit van de 14 composities.
Onder leiding van Linton, een charismatische zanger met een unieke stem, brengt de band vurige ritmes en sprankelende blazerspartijen. De stijl is rijk en gevarieerd en schommelt tussen de swing uit de jaren ’60 (ska, rocksteady, early reggae) en de krachtige Britse klanken die kenmerkend zijn voor de 2Tone-golf uit de jaren ’80.

Als overblijver van de ska-punk uit de jaren ’90, diep beïnvloed door de alternatieve rock uit de jaren ’80, combineert LOS TRES PUNTOS de levendigheid van ska met de woede van punkrock tot een explosieve mix. Een onstuimig en meedogenloos ritme, versterkt door een virtuoze blazerssectie, waarbij de in het Frans en Spaans gezongen teksten een levendig beeld schetsen van het dagelijks leven in onze donkere en gekwelde tijd.
De nieuwe EP %AB El Sistema %BB wijkt niet af van deze zo typische sound, waardoor de handtekening van de Puntos tussen 1000 andere direct herkenbaar is.
