Depuis 2019, Heyl entretient cette œuvre artisanale, parsemée de marques de son histoire qui retracent les incidents et dysfonctionnements qu’elle a connus. Les médias numériques sont dépourvus de ces signes; ils évoluent dans un espace fait de prévisibilité et de quantification. Jacob’s Wall remet en question la domination du numérique et imagine un avenir où les objets dureraient toute une vie, donnant au propriétaire le pouvoir d’en être le gardien.

Cette installation vidéo documentaire tournée comme un techno-thriller aborde l’impact des

refroidissement de data centers énergivores et techno-surveillance ciblant les activistes
écologistes. Le tournage se fait toujours en présence d’eau, d’éclairages bleutés vacillants ou d’objets tremblants, créant une atmosphère mystérieuse, parfois absurde, dans le but de parodier le sérieux des films documentaires.

la parole. Les œuvres ici réunies répondent non par un discours, mais par des gestes et des façons
de retourner les outils de la désinformation contre eux-mêmes.

Il existe une fatigue de la catastrophe, une lassitude des récits qui présentent l’effondrement comme l’unique horizon possible. Les œuvres réunies dans cette exposition refusent cette paralysie
des imaginaires. Sans nier les crises écologiques, l’épuisement des ressources ou les transformations irréversibles des territoires, elles choisissent d’ouvrir d’autres perspectives. Geïnspireerd door de opera Satyagraha van Philip Glass, brengt tekenaar en videokunstenaar %C9tienne Guiol op het podium de verschillende technieken van zijn animatiewerk tot uiting in een project dat de politieke en po%E9tische kracht van het collectieve gebaar van geweldloos verzet onderzoekt.

Globoscope is een constellatie van lichtgevende bollen die wiskunde, geluid en
licht samenbrengt om de ruimte te onthullen. Het werk is zo opgesteld dat het in resonantie staat met de kenmerken van de locatie waar het wordt tentoongesteld. Voor deze editie geeft Aix-en-Provence het werk een nieuwe taal mee: die van het water, zijn gefluister en zijn herinneringen.

? JACOB?S WALL - Monumentale kinetische sculptuur
Sinds 2019 onderhoudt Heyl dit ambachtelijke kunstwerk, dat bezaaid is met sporen uit zijn geschiedenis die de incidenten en storingen weerspiegelen die het heeft meegemaakt. Digitale media ontberen deze sporen; ze bewegen zich in een ruimte die gekenmerkt wordt door voorspelbaarheid en kwantificering. Jacob’s Wall stelt de dominantie van het digitale ter discussie en schetst een toekomst waarin voorwerpen een heel leven meegaan, waardoor de eigenaar de macht krijgt om er de bewaker van te zijn.

Deze documentaire en gevoelige creatie onderzoekt het begrip ‘reizen’ aan de hand van de vraag: %ABWat is je meest indrukwekkende reisherinnering?%BB. Aan de hand van persoonlijke verhalen van mensen met een migratieachtergrond, die werden opgevangen tijdens workshops georganiseerd door het collectief Halone, belicht de projectie de diversiteit aan levenslopen, de ongelijkheden in behandeling en de koloniale erfenissen die onze blik bepalen.

? MICROPLASTIQUE - Interactieve videoprojectie Microplastique is een interactieve projectie die
het publiek omtovert tot levende microplastic-organismen die voortdurend veranderen dankzij motion capture en videoprojectie in realtime. Het werk vervaagt de grens tussen spel en provocatie en nodigt de deelnemers uit om de onzichtbare aanwezigheid van microplastics onder ogen te zien… door zelf deze deeltjes te worden. Allison Moore is een multimediakunstenaar wiens werk de wereld interpreteert en reconstrueert als een metaforisch landschap waarin gevoelige actoren in wisselwerking staan met hun allegorische macrokosmos.

Speaker Corner is een voorstelling zonder acteurs of actrices voor de openbare ruimte. Een tekst die wordt geprojecteerd op
een stadsmuur neemt het woord en trekt de aandacht van een publiek dat zich op een plein heeft verzameld. De tekst bekijkt het publiek kritisch, vertelt verhalen, maakt grappen, zet aan tot actie en creëert een gemeenschappelijke, kritische en vrolijke ruimte. Het Collectif Impatience bedenkt vormen die de blik verschuiven en de manier waarop een voorstelling wordt ervaren en men toeschouwer wordt, op een andere manier benaderen.

Trac%E9 is een projectiemapping-werk dat is gecreëerd voor de gevel van de Madeleinekerk. Door middel van een gevoelige verkenning van de grenzen tussen architectuur en waarneming transformeert het werk de gevel in een levend materiaallevend materiaal dat in staat is om op te rijzen, zich te verplaatsen en zich opnieuw te vormen onder invloed van het licht. Het licht onthult daar de architecturale structuur als een skeletachtig diagram, dat de waargenomen massa vult, samendrukt en verplaatst.

Het werk van Romain Tardy biedt poëtische zintuiglijke ervaringen die de impact van technologieën op de samenleving ter discussie stellen.

Deze documentairevideo-installatie, gefilmd als een techno-thriller, behandelt de impact van
cybertechnologieën op water: vernietiging van ecosystemen door onderzeese kabels,
koeling van energieverslindende datacenters en technologische bewaking gericht op
milieuactivisten. De opnames vinden altijd plaats in de aanwezigheid van water, flikkerende blauwe verlichting of trillende voorwerpen, waardoor een mysterieuze, soms absurde sfeer ontstaat, met als doel de ernst van documentairefilms te parodiëren.

? FABULATIONS - Interactieve video-installatie
Taal is een slagveld geworden. Aanbevelingsalgoritmen, kunstmatige
intelligentie en platforms overspoelen de informatieruimte met tegenstrijdige verhalen,
synthetische beelden en massaal geproduceerde inhoud. Maar tegenover deze narratieve vervuiling neemt de kunst
het woord weer op. De hier bijeengebrachte werken reageren niet met een discours, maar met gebaren en manieren
om de instrumenten van desinformatie tegen zichzelf te keren.

? FUTURS SOLAIRES – tentoonstelling, VR-ervaring
Er heerst een zekere ‘catastrofemoeheid’, een vermoeidheid ten aanzien van verhalen die de ineenstorting als de enige mogelijke toekomst voorstellen. De werken die in deze tentoonstelling zijn samengebracht, verzetten zich tegen deze verlamming
van de verbeelding. Zonder de ecologische crises, de uitputting van hulpbronnen of de onomkeerbare veranderingen van gebieden te ontkennen, kiezen ze ervoor om andere perspectieven te openen. De kunstenaars onderzoeken de complexiteit van de technologie om gevoelige ruimtes voor heruitvinding te openen, tussen de herinnering aan gebieden, aandacht voor het levende en het verlangen naar coëxistentie.

? LA STRUCTURE DES VOIX - Geluidsinstallatie
"La structure des voix" is een installatie die het traditionele gebruik
van de stem en de stedelijke ruimte op een andere manier benadert en herconfigureert. Door stemfragmenten te versterken en te bewerken, biedt dit project een poëtische ombuiging van de stemmen van de openbare diensten: een zachte maar verontrustende indringing, waarbij stemmen zonder lichaam opduiken in het alledaagse geluidslandschap en zo zintuiglijke, muzikale en politieke verstoringen teweegbrengen.

Deze tentoonstelling brengt drie kunstenaars samen die afkomstig zijn van de zuidelijke oever van de Middellandse Zee. Maissane
Alibrahimi transformeert huishoudelijke voorwerpen in vormen van feministisch verzet. Dorra Hichri onderzoekt ecologische vraagstukken en ongelijkheden in de toegang tot hulpbronnen aan de hand van installaties waarin wetenschap en poëzie samenkomen. Yassin Agrbi onthult de aanwezigheid van afval en de metamorfoses die het ondergaat, en stelt daarbij onze relatie tot vervuiling en transformatiecycli ter discussie.

Dal 2019, Heyl si prende cura di quest’opera artigianale, costellata dai segni della sua storia che ripercorrono gli incidenti e i malfunzionamenti che ha subito. I media digitali sono privi di questi segni; si muovono in uno spazio fatto di prevedibilità e quantificazione. Jacob’s Wall mette in discussione il predominio del digitale e immagina un futuro in cui gli oggetti durerebbero per tutta la vita, conferendo al proprietario il potere di esserne il custode.

trasforma il pubblico in organismi microplastici viventi e in costante mutazione grazie al motion capture e alla videoproiezione in tempo reale. Sfocando il confine tra gioco e provocazione, l’opera invita i partecipanti a confrontarsi con la presenza invisibile delle microplastiche… diventando essi stessi queste particelle. Allison Moore è un’artista multimediale il cui lavoro interpreta e ricostruisce il mondo come un paesaggio metaforico in cui teatri sensibili interagiscono con il loro macrocosmo allegorico.

Trac%E9 è un’opera di video mapping realizzata per la facciata della chiesa della Madeleine. Attraverso un’esplorazione sensoriale dei confini tra architettura e percezione, l’opera trasforma la facciata in una materia vivente, capace di elevarsi, spostarsi e ricomporsi sotto l’azione della luce. La luce rivela la struttura architettonica come un diagramma scheletrico, riempiendo, comprimendo e deformando la massa percepita.

Questa installazione video-documentaria, girata come un techno-thriller, affronta l’impatto delle
tecnologie informatiche sull’acqua: la distruzione degli %E9cosistemi%E8 da parte dei c%E2cali sottomarini,
il raffreddamento dei data center %E9nergivori e la sorveglianza tecnologica mirata agli attivisti
%E9cologisti. Le riprese si svolgono sempre in presenza di acqua, di luci blu tremolanti o di oggetti tremolanti, creando un’atmosferamisteriosa, a volte assurda, con l’intento di parodiare la serietà dei film documentari.

Il linguaggio è diventato un campo di battaglia. Algoritmi di raccomandazione, intelligenze
artificiali e piattaforme saturano lo spazio informativo di narrazioni contraddittorie, immagini
sintetiche e contenuti prodotti in serie. Ma di fronte a questo inquinamento narrativo, l’arte riprende
la parola. Le opere qui riunite rispondono non con un discorso, ma con gesti e modi
per ribaltare gli strumenti della disinformazione contro se stessi.

C’è una sorta di stanchezza nei confronti delle catastrofi, una stanchezza nei confronti dei racconti che presentano il collasso come l’unico orizzonte possibile. Le opere riunite in questa mostra rifiutano questa paralisi
dell’immaginario. Senza negare le crisi ecologiche, l’esaurimento delle risorse o le trasformazioni irreversibili dei territori, scelgono di aprire altre prospettive. Gli artisti indagano la complessità della tecnologia per aprire spazi sensibili di reinvenzione, tra memoria dei territori, attenzione al vivente e desideri di convivenza.

"La structure des voix" è un'installazione che stravolge e riconfigura gli usi tradizionali
della voce e dello spazio urbano. Amplificando e manipolando frammenti vocali, questo progetto propone una rivisitazione poetica delle voci dei servizi: un’intrusione delicata ma inquietante, in cui voci senza corpo emergono nel paesaggio sonoro quotidiano, creando perturbazioni sensoriali, musicali e politiche.

Questa mostra riunisce tre artisti provenienti dalla sponda sud del Mediterraneo. Maissane
Alibrahimi trasforma oggetti domestici in forme di resistenza femminista. Dorra Hichri esplora le questioni ecologiche e le disuguaglianze di accessoalle risorse attraverso installazioni che fondono scienza e poesia. Yassin Agrbi rivela la presenza dei rifiuti e le loro metamorfosi, mettendo in discussione il nostro rapporto con l’inquinamento e i cicli di trasformazione.

A Salty Protest #2 es una obra a caballo entre la instalación audiovisual, la performance
coreográfica y el cine experimental. Partiendo de la ópera Satyagraha de Philip Glass, el dibujante y videasta %C9tienne Guiol despliega sobre el escenario las diferentes técnicas de su trabajo de animación en un proyecto que explora la fuerza política y poética del gesto colectivo de resistencia no violenta.

Desde 2019, Heyl se encarga del mantenimiento de esta obra artesanal, salpicada de huellas de su historia que relatan los incidentes y fallos que ha sufrido. Los medios digitales carecen de estos signos; evolucionan en un espacio marcado por la previsibilidad y la cuantificación. Jacob’s Wall cuestiona el dominio de lo digital e imagina un futuro en el que los objetos durarían toda una vida, otorgando al propietario el poder de ser su guardián.

Esta creación documental y sensible reflexiona sobre el concepto de viaje con una pregunta: «¿Cuál es tu recuerdo más memorable de un viaje?». A través de los relatos íntimos de personas afectadas por la inmigración y acogidas en talleres organizadospor el colectivo Halone, la proyección pone de relieve la diversidad de trayectorias, las desigualdades de trato y los legados coloniales que moldean nuestra forma de ver el mundo.

Esta instalación de vídeo documental, rodada a modo de thriller tecnológico, aborda el impacto de las
tecnologías cibernéticas sobre el agua: la destrucción de los ecosistemas por los cables submarinos,
la refrigeración de centros de datos que consumen mucha energía y la vigilancia tecnológica dirigida a los activistas
ecologistas. El rodaje siempre se realiza en presencia de agua, con luces azuladas parpadeantes u objetos que se agitan, lo que crea una atmósfera misteriosa, a veces absurda, con el objetivo de parodiar la seriedad de los documentales.

El lenguaje se ha convertido en un campo de batalla. Los algoritmos de recomendación, la inteligencia
artificial y las plataformas saturan el espacio informativo con relatos contradictorios, imágenes
sintéticas y contenidos producidos en serie. Pero ante esta contaminación narrativa, el arte vuelve a

Existe un cansancio ante las catástrofes, un hastío ante los relatos que presentan el colapso como el único horizonte posible. Las obras reunidas en esta exposición rechazan esta parálisis
de la imaginación. Sin negar las crisis ecológicas, el agotamiento de los recursos o las transformaciones irreversibles de los territorios, optan por abrir otras perspectivas. Los artistas cuestionan la complejidad de la tecnología para abrir espacios sensibles de reinvención, entre la memoria de los territorios, la atención a lo vivo y los deseos de coexistencia.

? LA ESTRUCTURA DE LAS VOCES - Instalación sonora
«La estructura de las voces» es una instalación que reinterpreta y reconfigura los usos tradicionales
de la voz y del espacio urbano. Al amplificar y manipular fragmentos vocales, este proyecto propone una reinterpretación poética de las voces de los servicios: una intrusión suave pero inquietante, en la que voces sin cuerpo emergen en el paisaje sonoro cotidiano, creando perturbaciones sensoriales, musicales y políticas.

Seit 2019 pflegt Heyl dieses handwerklich gefertigte Werk, das mit Spuren seiner Geschichte übersät ist, welche die Zwischenfälle und Störungen nachzeichnen, die es erlebt hat. Digitale Medien sind dieser Spuren entbehrt; sie bewegen sich in einem Raum, der von Vorhersehbarkeit und Quantifizierung geprägt ist. „Jacob’s Wall“ hinterfragt die Vorherrschaft des Digitalen und entwirft eine Zukunft, in der Gegenstände ein Leben lang halten und dem Besitzer die Macht geben, ihr Hüter zu sein.

„Trac%E9“ ist ein Projektionsmapping-Werk, das für die Fassade der Kirche La Madeleine geschaffen wurde. Durch eine einfühlsame Erkundung der Grenzen zwischen Architektur und Wahrnehmung verwandelt das Werk die Fassade in eine lebendige Materie, die in der Lage ist, sich unter dem Einfluss des Lichts zu erheben, zu bewegen und neu zu formieren. Das Licht offenbart dabei die architektonische Struktur als skelettartiges Diagramm, das die wahrgenommene Masse ausfüllt, komprimiert und verschiebt.

? FUTURS SOLAIRES – Ausstellung, VR-Erlebnis
Es herrscht eine gewisse Katastrophenmüdigkeit, eine Abneigung gegen Erzählungen, die den Zusammenbruch als einzigen möglichen Horizont darstellen. Die in dieser Ausstellung versammelten Werke lehnen diese Lähmung
der Vorstellungskraft ab. Ohne die ökologischen Krisen, die Erschöpfung der Ressourcen oder die unumkehrbaren Veränderungen der Landschaften zu leugnen, entscheiden sie sich dafür, andere Perspektiven zu eröffnen. Die Künstler hinterfragen die Komplexität der Technologie, um sensible Räume der Neuerfindung zu erschließen – zwischen der Erinnerung an Landschaften, der Achtsamkeit gegenüber dem Lebendigen und dem Wunsch nach Koexistenz.

? LA STRUCTURE DES VOIX – Klanginstallation
„La structure des voix“ ist eine Installation, die die traditionellen Verwendungsweisen
der Stimme und des städtischen Raums umdeutet und neu konfiguriert. Durch die Verstärkung und Bearbeitung von Stimmfragmenten bietet dieses Projekt eine poetische Umdeutung von Dienstleistungsstimmen: ein sanftes, aber störendes Eindringen, bei dem körperlose Stimmen in die alltägliche Klanglandschaft auftauchen und und sensorische, musikalische und politische Störungen erzeugen.

? VOIX MÉDITERRANÉENNES – Videoinstallation
Diese Ausstellung vereint drei Künstlerinnen vom südlichen Mittelmeerraum. Maissane
Alibrahimi verwandelt Haushaltsgegenstände in Formen des feministischen Widerstands. Dorra Hichri untersucht ökologische Herausforderungen und Ungleichheiten beim Zugang zu Ressourcen anhand von Installationen, die Wissenschaft und Poesie verbinden. Yassin Agrbi macht die Präsenz von Abfällen und deren Wandlungen sichtbar und hinterfragt dabei unser Verhältnis zur Umweltverschmutzung und zu den Kreisläufen der Transformation.
