Italien (Italie) Per concludere la stagione, la Maison des Consuls presenta l'universo sensibile di Thomas Verny con la mostra "Les cent vingt vues du Pic Saint-Loup" ("Centoventi vedute del Pic Saint-Loup"). Ispirandosi ai paesaggi mediterranei a cui è profondamente legato, l'artista esplora la maestosa presenza del Pic Saint-Loup e dei territori circostanti attraverso una serie di creazioni realizzate sul posto.
Nel corso della mostra, i visitatori scopriranno una collezione di dipinti a pastello di piccolo formato su cartone di legno, realizzati nei comuni del Grand Pic Saint-Loup. Le creste, le valli, le rocce e i paesaggi più discreti compongono un insieme che unisce uno sguardo intimo sulla luce mediterranea e la memoria del luogo.
Opere di formato più grande, realizzate in studio a partire da schizzi plein air, ampliano questa immersione pittorica e testimoniano il profondo legame dell'artista con questo territorio emblematico.

Néerlandais (Pays-Bas) Om het seizoen af te ronden, toont het Maison des Consuls de gevoelige wereld van Thomas Verny met de tentoonstelling "Les cent vingt vues du Pic Saint-Loup" ("Honderdtwintig uitzichten op de Pic Saint-Loup"). Geïnspireerd door de mediterrane landschappen die hem nauw aan het hart liggen, verkent de kunstenaar de majestueuze aanwezigheid van de Pic Saint-Loup en de omliggende gebieden door middel van een reeks creaties die hij ter plaatse heeft gemaakt.
Doorheen de tentoonstelling ontdekt de bezoeker een collectie pastelschilderijen in klein formaat op houtkarton, gemaakt in de gemeenten van de Grand Pic Saint-Loup. De bergkammen, valleien, rotsen en meer discrete landschappen vormen een geheel dat een intieme blik op het mediterrane licht en de herinnering aan de plek combineert.
De werken op groter formaat, die in het atelier zijn gemaakt op basis van schetsen in de open lucht, breiden deze picturale onderdompeling uit en getuigen van de diepe band tussen de kunstenaar en dit emblematische gebied.
