Néerlandais (Pays-Bas) Het Auld Alliance Interpretation Centre ligt op het terrein van het Stuart Castle. Gebouwd in het begin van de 16e eeuw door Robert Stuart of Lennox, maarschalk van Frankrijk, werd het verbouwd en verfraaid door de hertogin van Portsmouth Louise de Keroualle in de 18e eeuw. Op de ingangsgevel van het châtelet staat trots het wapen van de Stuarts d'Aubigny, tegenover een enorm zwaard omgeven door water en rotsen: het monument van de Auld Alliance, symbool van het verbond dat Frankrijk en Schotland in 1295 sloten tegen de gemeenschappelijke vijand, Engeland. Built in the early 16th century by Robert Stuart of Lennox, Marshal of France, it was remodeled and embellished by the Duchess of Portsmouth Louise de Keroualle in the 18th century.
