Anglais A young reformed extremist recounts how he became radicalized after joining a neo-Nazi splinter group and how he managed to break free. It is an intimate portrait of a man overwhelmed by frustration and fear, who admits to having “chosen the wrong struggle” and ultimately becoming the monster he thought he was fighting. In a time of great confusion, this musical and dance-infused performance invites us to ask ourselves: how can theater and dance still offer a poetic response to such violence?

Allemand (Allemagne) Ein junger Reumütiger erzählt, wie er sich durch den Beitritt zu einer neonazistischen Splittergruppe radikalisierte und wie er sich daraus befreite. Es ist das intime Porträt eines Menschen, der von Frustration und Angst überwältigt war und zugibt, sich im Kampf geirrt zu haben und schließlich zu dem Monster geworden zu sein, das er zu bekämpfen glaubte. In einer Zeit großer Verwirrung regt diese musikalische und getanzte Lesung dazu an, uns zu fragen: Wie können Theater und Tanz noch eine poetische Antwort auf solche Gewalt geben?

Espagnol Un joven arrepentido cuenta cómo se radicalizó al unirse a un grupúsculo neonazi y cómo logró salir de allí. Es el retrato íntimo de un ser abrumado por la frustración y el miedo, que confiesa haberse «equivocado de lucha» y haberse convertido, al final, en el monstruo al que creía combatir. En una época de gran confusión, esta lectura musical y danzada nos invita a plantearnos: ¿cómo pueden el teatro y la danza seguir aportando una respuesta poética a tal violencia?

Néerlandais (Pays-Bas) Een jonge bekeerde vertelt hoe hij geradicaliseerd raakte toen hij zich aansloot bij een neonazistische splintergroepering en hoe hij daaruit is gekomen. Het is het intieme portret van een man die overweldigd werd door frustratie en angst, die toegeeft dat hij zich in de %ABverkeerde strijd%BB heeft gestort en uiteindelijk het monster is geworden dat hij dacht te bestrijden. In een tijd van grote verwarring nodigt deze muzikale en gedanste voorstelling ons uit om ons af te vragen: hoe kunnen theater en dans nog een poëtisch antwoord bieden op dergelijk geweld?

Italien (Italie) Un giovane pentito racconta come si sia radicalizzato entrando a far parte di una setta neonazista e come ne sia uscito. È il ritratto intimo di un uomo sopraffatto dalla frustrazione e dalla paura, che ammette di aver «scelto la lotta sbagliata» e di essere finito per diventare proprio il mostro che credeva di combattere. In un periodo di grande confusione, questa lettura musicale e danzata ci invita a interrogarci: in che modo il teatro e la danza possono ancora fornire una risposta poetica a tanta violenza?
