Anglais To explore the prints in the heritage collection in a new way, the MAM presents the exhibition “The Grand Tour,” a look at antiquity. From the 16th to the 18th century, young aristocrats and artists traveled throughout Europe to discover ancient ruins and masterpieces. This rite of passage, considered the precursor to modern tourism, is presented through a selection of prints, engravings, and contemporary works. The exhibition invites visitors to follow in the footsteps of these travelers of yesteryear.

Este viaje iniciático, considerado el antecesor del turismo moderno, se presenta a través de una selección de grabados, ilustraciones y obras contemporáneas. La exposición invita a seguir los pasos de aquellos viajeros de antaño.
