TRAUMA è un progetto di archeologia visiva in cui Joan Fontcuberta si interroga su ciò che accade quando la fotografia esala l’ultimo respiro. Cosa accade quando una fotografia non è più orientata verso una realtà esterna all’immagine stessa e non rimane altro che il substrato, il residuo, appena qualche macchia dei prodotti chimici sensibili alla luce? In questa situazione traumatica, la fotografia diventa amnesica e si trasforma in un fantasma.
