La exposición Cotentin ? Mémoire en chansons, inaugurada en 2015, pretende poner de relieve los repertorios musicales tradicionales de la península de Cotentin, en Normandía, y fomentar su transmisión en la actualidad.
El proyecto es fruto de la colaboración entre la asociación La Loure y el fotógrafo Stéphane Janou. Stéphane Janou acompañó a Etienne Lagrange e Yvon Davy en sus colecciones por la campiña del Cotentin. Sus fotos, a la vez sensibles y cálidas, revelan la emoción de los cantantes que conoció.
La exposición presenta retratos de los cantantes, junto con grabaciones realizadas con ellos. También presenta la naturaleza de los repertorios tradicionales recogidos, con el objetivo de dar a conocer mejor estas canciones y hacerlas más populares entre el público.
Para ampliar la experiencia, está disponible una película en YouTube, que muestra la riqueza de estos encuentros humanos y una buena selección de canciones y relatos de las tradiciones cantoras de antaño.

Die Ausstellung Cotentin ? Mémoire en chansons, die 2015 eröffnet wurde, hat zum Ziel, die traditionellen Musikrepertoires der Halbinsel Cotentin in der Normandie zu beleuchten und ihre Weitergabe in der heutigen Zeit zu fördern.
Das Projekt ist das Ergebnis einer Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem Verein La Loure und dem Fotografen Stéphane Janou. Er begleitete Etienne Lagrange und Yvon Davy auf ihren Sammeltouren durch die Landschaft des Cotentin. Seine sensiblen und herzlichen Aufnahmen zeigen die Emotionen der Sänger, denen er begegnet ist.
