Lancé en 2013, l’Observatoire des oiseaux de jardin géré par la Ligue de protection des oiseaux (LPO) et le réseau “Vigie-Nature” est le plus important dispositif français de sciences participatives impliquant le grand public. Il organise chaque année, en mai, un Grand comptage printanier des oiseaux de jardin. Pour vous aider à multiplier vos chances d’observer des espèces parfois difficiles à apercevoir, nous vous proposons de venir fabriquer un nichoir à oiseaux que vous pourrez facilement installer dans votre jardin, votre balcon ou dans un parc public. Cet atelier sera également l’occasion de vous familiariser avec le protocole de comptage pour être fin prêt·e le jour J ! Rendez-vous le 17 février 2027, de 14h à 16h. Launched in 2013, the Garden Bird Observatory, run by the League for the Protection of Birds (LPO) and the “Vigie-Nature” network, is France’s largest citizen science initiative involving the general public. Every year in May, it organises a major spring garden bird count. To help you increase your chances of spotting species that can sometimes be hard to spot, we invite you to come and make a birdhouse that you can easily put up in your garden, on your balcony or in a public park. This workshop will also give you the chance to familiarise yourself with the counting procedure so you’ll be fully prepared when the big day arrives! See you on 17 February 2027, from 2 pm to 4 pm.
