A STORY OF FAMILY AND PASSION
Created by the Monrolin family, the Tour du Jura and the Classic Grand Besançon Doubs are organised by the Jura Cyclisme club, based in Arbois and founded by Claude Monrolin 25 years ago.
Passionate about cycling, the club wanted to promote the region by creating a benchmark cycling event, starting with the Tour du Jura. Initially a stage race for amateurs, the Tour du Jura has welcomed some of the best young riders in professional cycling today, such as Guillaume Martin and Victor Lafay.


PROFESSIONAL TRANSITION AND CREATION OF THE CLASSIC GRAND BESANCON DOUBS
In 2021, the Tour du Jura became a professional race, giving spectators the opportunity to cheer on the world's best cyclists. By also organising the Classic Grand Besançon Doubs the day before, JURA CYCLISME is welcoming 20 professional teams and 120 top-level riders.

UNE HISTOIRE DE FAMILLE ET DE PASSION
Créé par la famille Monrolin, le Tour du Jura et la Classic Grand Besançon Doubs sont organisés par le club de Jura Cyclisme, club basé à Arbois créé par Claude Monrolin il y a 25 ans.
Passionnée de cyclisme, le club a souhaité promouvoir le territoire en créant une épreuve cycliste de référence avec tout d'abord le Tour du Jura. Course par étapes destinée aux amateurs à son commencement, le Tour du Jura a pu accueillir certains des meilleurs jeunes qui font l'actualité du cyclisme professionnel d'aujourd'hui tels que Guillaume Martin ou Victor Lafay.


PASSAGE PROFESSIONNEL ET CREATION DE LA CLASSIC GRAND BESANCON DOUBS
En 2021, le Tour du Jura est devenu une course professionnelle et a donc donné l'opportunité aux spectateurs d'encourager les meilleurs cyclistes mondiaux. En organisant également la Classic Grand Besançon Doubs, la veille, JURA CYCLISME accueille 20 équipes professionnelles et 120 coureurs de haut niveau.
Diffusées en direct sur France TV et Max sport (Eurosport) ces épreuves se sont installés en un temps record comme des passages obligés pour les champions français.

EINE FAMILIENGESCHICHTE UND LEIDENSCHAFT
Die von der Familie Monrolin ins Leben gerufene Tour du Jura und die Classic Grand Besançon Doubs werden vom Verein Jura Cyclisme organisiert, einem Verein mit Sitz in Arbois, der vor 25 Jahren von Claude Monrolin gegründet wurde.
Als leidenschaftlicher Radsportler wollte der Verein die Region fördern, indem er mit der Tour du Jura zunächst eine Referenz-Radsportveranstaltung ins Leben rief. Die Tour du Jura war zu Beginn ein Etappenrennen für Amateure und konnte einige der besten jungen Fahrer aufnehmen, die heute im Profiradsport zu finden sind, wie Guillaume Martin oder Victor Lafay.


ÜBERGANG ZU DEN PROFIS UND GRÜNDUNG DER CLASSIC GRAND BESANCON DOUBS
Im Jahr 2021 wurde die Tour du Jura zu einem Profirennen und gab den Zuschauern somit die Möglichkeit, die besten Radsportler der Welt anzufeuern. Da JURA CYCLISME am Vortag auch die Classic Grand Besançon Doubs veranstaltet, sind 20 Profiteams und 120 Spitzenfahrer zu Gast.

EEN VERHAAL VAN FAMILIE EN PASSIE
De Tour du Jura en de Classic Grand Besançon Doubs zijn opgezet door de familie Monrolin en worden georganiseerd door de club Jura Cyclisme, gevestigd in Arbois en 25 jaar geleden opgericht door Claude Monrolin.
De club is gepassioneerd door wielrennen en wilde de regio promoten door een wielerevenement te creëren dat als referentie kon dienen, te beginnen met de Tour du Jura. Aanvankelijk was de Tour du Jura een etappekoers voor amateurs, maar tegenwoordig heeft het enkele van de beste jonge renners uit de professionele wielersport verwelkomd, zoals Guillaume Martin en Victor Lafay.
