Néerlandais (Pays-Bas) De muziek van King Salami & the Cumberland, een samensmelting van rock-’n-roll en rhythm & beat, heeft maar één doel: je heupen laten wiegen, je knieën laten schudden, je hoofd laten schudden en een brede glimlach op je lippen toveren!
In 2006 besloten een Japanner, een Spanjaard, een Caribische en een Fransman in Londen om het tekort aan rock-'n-rollbands op te vullen en een band op te richten die wilde zwarte rhythm & blues speelt. Met invloeden van Andre Williams, Screaming Jay Hawkins en King Coleman besloten ze punkenergie te combineren met de Amerikaanse rhythm & blues uit de jaren ’50. Het resultaat is verbluffend, en na slechts één concert worden ze uitgenodigd om in het voorprogramma van de legendarische Trashmen te spelen op het Funtastic Dracula-festival in Spanje, waar ze furore maken.
Sindsdien hebben ze heel Europa doorkruist, waarbij ze het podium deelden met onder meer de Pretty Things, Kid Congo Powers en the Bellrays, en treden ze regelmatig op in Portugal, Italië, Frankrijk, Duitsland, België, Finland, Spanje en Nederland…

In 2006 besloten een Japanner, een Spanjaard, een Caribische en een Fransman in Londen om het tekort aan rock-'n-rollbands op te vullen en een band op te richten die wilde zwarte rhythm & blues speelt. Met invloeden van Andre Williams, Screaming Jay Hawkins en King Coleman besloten ze punkenergie te combineren met de Amerikaanse rhythm & blues uit de jaren ’50. Het resultaat is verbluffend, en na slechts één concert worden ze uitgenodigd om in het voorprogramma van de legendarische Trashmen te spelen op het Funtastic Dracula-festival in Spanje, waar ze furore maken.

Allemand (Allemagne) Als Mischung aus Rock’n’Roll und Rhythm & Beat hat die Musik von King Salami & the Cumberland kein anderes Ziel, als eure Hüften schwingen zu lassen, eure Knie wippen zu lassen, euren Kopf mitwippen zu lassen und ein breites Lächeln auf eure Lippen zu zaubern!
Im Jahr 2006 beschlossen ein Japaner, ein Spanier, ein Karibiker und ein Franzose in London, die Lücke bei den Rock’n’Roll-Bands zu schließen und eine Wild-Black-Rhythm-&-Blues-Band zu gründen.
