Una vera e propria industria nel XIX secolo, scomparsa completamente dopo la Prima Guerra Mondiale. Oggi, Jackie e Robin vi invitano a scoprire questa misteriosa prelibatezza, oggetto di numerosi servizi televisivi.
La visita guidata, della durata di un'ora, vi riporterà indietro nel tempo, nella vita laboriosa dei nostri antenati, in un'atmosfera da fine Ottocento. La ricostruzione dell'abitazione trogloditica, i forni per le mele e gli attrezzi di un tempo immergono i visitatori nell'atmosfera dell'epoca. Il contesto storico e il processo di produzione sono spiegati in un filmato. Infine, la visita si conclude con l'immancabile degustazione di mele alla spina reidratate o essiccate.
