Description
Description longue de la ressource.

Anglais At the foot of the Felsburg, this chapel was originally dedicated to the Blessed Virgin. It was erected in 1566 by Adam de Landsberg and his wife Beatrice von Landeck, whose coat of arms is on the lintel below the west door

Inside, we can see the remains of the frescoes that originally decorated the choir and the nave. The current patron saint, Saint Wendelin, took the place of the Virgin in the 17th - 18th centuries during a cattle epidemic, as he was particularly invoked for the cure of livestock as patron saint of domestic animals. During this period, animal diseases and even certain epidemics were frequent, striking farmyards and herds. Therefore, the believers did not fail to invoke the protection of the Holy Patron of Animals.

Until 1880, there were hermits there.
The parish priest bought this chapel in 1885 and had it restored. In 1898 it became the property of the parish and is used from time to time for youth meetings.
