Man muss sich in den Gassen verlieren, die Becken umrunden oder am Vauban-Turm vorbei die Klippen entlanglaufen.

For, although at the first glimpse, Port-en-Bessin looks just like a small inland village nestling amidst the dark and curvaceous hills, it is in fact a genuine mariners’ fortress. A small town with 2,100 inhabitants, all with a decidedly maritime outlook, here where fishing is a way of life. Lose yourself in its narrow streets, take a stroll around the harbour, or brave the cliffside, via the Vauban tower.
