Français (France) Cet hôtel particulier a été construit au début du XVIIIe s. par Jacques Delaporte, seigneur de Marnay, qui l'a agrandi de deux ailes entre 1749 et 1755. En 1759, il est devenu propriété de la famille de Senecé.
L'Académie de Mâcon, association culturelle a acheté l'Hôtel Senecé en 1896. Elle en est le propriétaire actuel et organise dans les salons de réception des conférences, des expositions ou tout autre événement d'ordre intellectuel. La galerie L'Envoûtée, située dans les caves voûtées, peut être louée pour organiser des expositions.
Les membres de l'Académie ont pour mission de mettre en valeur le patrimoine intellectuel et architectural. A ce titre, les bibliothèques sont ouvertes le mardi et des visites guidées de l'Hôtel Senecé sont organisées le mardi et le jeudi.
