"EXHIBITION: MEMOIRE DE SONGE \u2013 CERAMIC PAINTINGS BY LAURE EXPOSITO \n\nAfter spending 35 years on the C\u00F4te Fleurie in Honfleur \u2014 years devoted to teaching the art of ceramics \u2014 I set up the Atelier Autres Terres in Tanis, in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel... and it is with great pleasure that I return to these cobbled streets to present my ceramic paintings in Honfleur, at the gallery located at 17 Rue Cachin.\n\nAs an artist working with earth and living matter, my approach is rooted in a physical and poetic partnership with the elements; my compositions arise from the encounter between sedimentary slate, porcelain and the alchemy of Raku. Influenced by the philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, I favour raw materials, asymmetry and the marks of time. Inspired by the geometry of the Bi disc, my works combine clay with photographic images taken both by day and by night. Conceived as ephemerides of the invisible, they unite the microcosm and the macrocosm.\n\nImprinting the living onto matter thus becomes an act of poetic resistance \u2014 a way of giving form to this thought by Gaston Bachelard: \u2018Matter retains the memory of dreams\u2019 \u2026 and so I invite you to come and discover this interpretation."@en . Sensible \u00E0 la philosophie du Wabi-Sabi, je privil\u00E9gie la mati\u00E8re brute, l'asym\u00E9trie et l'empreinte du temps. Inspir\u00E9es de la g\u00E9om\u00E9trie du disque Bi mes \u0153uvres marient la terre \u00E0 des captures photographiques de jour comme de nuit.
