The revolutionary genius of Johann Sebastian Bach’s sons would profoundly influence Haydn, Mozart, and later Beethoven. By translating into music the fluctuations of the soul driven by the ebb and flow of passions, they established themselves as masters of chiaroscuro. Il Convito invites you to explore this lineage, shaped by the fresh and daring sensibility of Bach’s sons; Beethoven’s storms are not far off.

Het revolutionaire genie van de zonen van Johann Sebastian Bach zou een diepe stempel drukken op Haydn, Mozart en vervolgens Beethoven.
