Die vom Verein „Fête des Remparts de Dinan“ organisierte Veranstaltung verbindet künstlerischen Anspruch mit international renommierten Künstlern sowie Begegnungen und Vermittlungsangebote für das Festivalpublikum.
In einer durch und durch festlichen, familienfreundlichen und partizipativen Atmosphäre lädt „Into the Winds“ das Publikum ein, in die fröhliche Welt der Renaissancefeste einzutauchen. Passend zur Atmosphäre der „Fête des Remparts“ wird das Ensemble einen Einführungsworkshop leiten, gefolgt von einem großen, für alle offenen Ball. Als führendes Ensemble in der Interpretation von Musik und Tänzen des 16. Jahrhunderts stützt sich das Ensemble auf bedeutende historische Quellen wie die „Orchésographie“ von Thoinot Arbeau, um mit ihren historischen Instrumenten und ihren so besonderen, nuancierten Klängen einen Ansatz zu bieten, der zugleich streng und unmittelbar lebendig ist. Dieser Ball ist als Moment des Miteinanders und des Feierns konzipiert, begleitet von hochkarätigen Musikern und für jedes Publikum zugänglich – sowohl für Tanzanfänger als auch für versierte Amateure!
