Néerlandais (Pays-Bas) Les Abattoirs de Mons in België is al twintig jaar een belangrijk centrum voor hedendaagse kunst en kunstnijverheid. De vereniging die deze locatie beheert, Be Craft, heeft vanzelfsprekend de handen ineengeslagen met La Porcherie om de selectiejury samen te stellen voor een grote jubileumtentoonstelling. Een ontmoeting tussen een voormalige doorvoerplaats voor varkens en een voormalig slachthuis. Er bleek uiteindelijk toch een kleine verwantschap te bestaan... Hoe dan ook, La Porcherie wilde een deel van deze tentoonstelling naar Frans grondgebied verplaatsen door bepaalde kunstenaars zorgvuldiger te selecteren. En zo kwam deze vlezige ontmoeting tot stand met werken van Cécile Bourdais, Rohan Graeffly, Hélène Guy Lhomme, Christine Mawet, Hugo Meert, Diego d’Onofrio, Romina Remmo, Reinhilde van Grieken, Maxime van Roy, Ophélie Vansteenhuyse, Astrid Wilk en Elodie Wysocki.
Allemand (Allemagne) Die „Abattoirs de Mons“ in Belgien sind seit 20 Jahren eine Hochburg für zeitgenössische Kunst und Kunsthandwerk. Der Verein „Be Craft“, der diesen Ort betreibt, hat sich ganz selbstverständlich an „La Porcherie“ gewandt, um die Auswahljury für eine große Jubiläumsausstellung zusammenzustellen. Eine Begegnung zwischen einem ehemaligen Umschlagplatz für Schweine und ehemaligen Schlachthöfen. Es gab also doch eine gewisse Verbindung… Wie dem auch sei, „La Porcherie“ wollte einen Teil dieser Ausstellung auf französisches Gebiet verlegen und wählte dazu bestimmte Künstler genauer aus. Und so kam es zu dieser „fleischlichen“ Begegnung mit Werken von Cécile Bourdais, Rohan Graeffly, Héléna Guy Lhomme, Christine Mawet, Hugo Meert, Diego d’Onofrio, Romina Remmo, Reinhilde van Grieken, Maxime van Roy, Ophélie Vansteenhuyse, Astrid Wilk und Elodie Wysocki zustande kam.
Italien (Italie) Gli Abattoirs di Mons, in Belgio, sono da vent’anni un punto di riferimento per l’arte e l’artigianato artistico contemporaneo. L’associazione che gestisce questo spazio, Be Craft, si è naturalmente rivolta a La Porcherie per costituire la giuria di selezione in vista di una grande mostra celebrativa. Un incontro tra un antico luogo di transito per i suini e gli ex macelli. In fin dei conti, c’era un piccolo legame... Comunque sia, La Porcherie ha voluto trasferire una parte di questa mostra sul territorio francese, selezionando in modo più mirato alcuni artisti. Ed è così che si è concretizzato questo incontro «carnale» con opere di Cécile Bourdais, Rohan Graeffly, Hélène Guy Lhomme, Christine Mawet, Hugo Meert, Diego d’Onofrio, Romina Remmo, Reinhilde van Grieken, Maxime van Roy, Ophélie Vansteenhuyse, Astrid Wilk ed Elodie Wysocki.
Espagnol Los Mataderos de Mons, en Bélgica, son un referente del arte y la artesanía contemporánea desde hace 20 años. La asociación que gestiona este espacio, Be Craft, se ha acercado de forma natural a La Porcherie para formar el jurado de selección de una gran exposición conmemorativa. Un encuentro entre un antiguo lugar de tránsito de cerdos y unos antiguos mataderos. Al fin y al cabo, había una pequeña conexión... Sea como fuere, La Porcherie ha querido trasladar una parte de esta exposición al territorio francés, seleccionando de forma más precisa a determinados artistas. Y así es como se gestó este encuentro carnívoro con obras de Cécile Bourdais, Rohan Graeffly, Hélène Guy Lhomme, Christine Mawet, Hugo Meert, Diego d’Onofrio, Romina Remmo, Reinhilde van Grieken, Maxime van Roy, Ophélie Vansteenhuyse, Astrid Wilk y Elodie Wysocki.
Français (France) Les Abattoirs de Mons en Belgique est un haut lieu de l'art et artisanat d'art contemporain depuis 20 ans. L'association qui gère ce lieu, Be Craft, s'est naturellement rapproché de La Porcherie pour constituer son jury de sélection pour une grande exposition anniversaire. Une rencontre entre un ancien lieu de transit de porcs et des anciens abattoirs. Il y avait un petite filiation finalement... Quoiqu'il en soit, La Porcherie a souhaité faire migrer une partie de cette exposition sur le territoire français en sélectionnant de manière plus précise certains artistes. Et voilà comment cette rencontre carnée s'est proposée avec des oeuvres de Cécile Bourdais, Rohan Graeffly, Héléna Guy Lhomme, Christine Mawet, Hugo Meert, Diego d’Onofrio, Romina Remmo, Reinhilde van Grieken, Maxime van Roy, Ophélie Vansteenhuyse, Astrid Wilk et Elodie Wysocki.
Anglais Les Abattoirs de Mons in Belgium has been a leading centre for contemporary art and craft for the past 20 years. The association that runs the venue, Be Craft, naturally approached La Porcherie to help put together the selection panel for a major anniversary exhibition. A meeting of minds between a former transit point for pigs and a former abattoir.
