Es wurde fast 100 Jahre lang von einem Schleusenwärter und seiner Familie bewohnt. Mit der Inbetriebnahme des Staudamms von Guerlédan im Jahr 1930 wurde die Schifffahrt auf dem Kanal eingestellt und die Arbeit der Schleusenwärter beendet!
